We have been in operation for over 30 years and in that time have evolved into a digitally savvy, data-driven team that is backed with human connection – that’s where you come in! We are searching for an Appointment Generator to join our vibrant customer services team in beautiful Napier!

About the role

Our purpose is to improve the financial well-being of our clients and you will be an integral part of helping us succeed. 

As the Appointment Generator, it will your responsibility to contact targeted new business prospects, engage them, and establish their interest ensuring a well-qualified opportunity for the Area Manager team. 

This is a phone-based role making outbound calls to SME businesses from our Napier office, and reporting to our Customer Services Manager.

A very rewarding role with comprehensive support/training provided and the opportunity to develop and define the role.

We have multiple roles available with flexible hours throughout the working week between Monday and Friday 8.30 am to-5.00 pm.

About you

If you have people skills and you are not afraid of talking to business owners over the telephone, this will be the role for you.

Other important qualities we are searching for include:

  • Strong social and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport through your exceptional phone manner.
  • Resilience, exuding confidence, and a positive, self-motivated, engaging personality.  Display patience and good judgment.
  • Absolutely no call reluctance, being tenacious, enthusiastic, positive, and a “Make it happen” attitude 
  • Confident in your own ability to engage and hold conversations with decision-makers. 
  • Able to organise, prioritise and manage multiple activities, points of contact and connections at different stages in the sales pipeline.
  • Results focused with a proven record of reaching and/or exceeding targets
  • Integrity – You will always do the right thing even when no one is watching
