EC Credit Control announced as associate sponsor of GEON Art Deco Weekend 2012

The Art Deco Trust has announced a brand new Associate sponsor for the GEON Art Deco Weekend 2012 as being EC Credit Control.

Matthew Harrison, Managing Director of EC Credit Control reported that he was very proud that his company could support such an important event in the Hawke’s Bay community. He stated “Our company has been operating in Napier for over 20 years and it is very exciting to join the Art Deco team as one of the major sponsors”.

Sally Jackson, General Manager of the Art Deco Trust said it is always fantastic to welcome sponsors on board, but it is even more exciting when the sponsor is a local company and involves people who are passionate about Napier and the Art Deco events. She added, “There are over 200 events planned for the 2012 Weekend, these events have an extremely positive impact on the City and wider region, but to organise and run they do require a lot of support, we are very lucky in Hawke’s Bay to have companies like GEON and EC Credit Control who are willing to invest heavily”.

The GEON Art Deco Weekend is Hawke’s Bay largest event and in its 24th year attracts around 30,000 people to Napier over the festival period. The 2012 event is scheduled for 16 – 19 February.

Organised by the Trust, GEON Art Deco Weekend it is a not too serious celebration of the Art Deco style. The event attracts thousands from all over the world to participate in fun events that involves dressing up, dancing, dining, picnics, parades, vintage cars, planes and more.
